ROBERT ANDERSEN
Robert Andersen works as a psychiatrist with combat veterans. That has been his focus for the past twenty years. During that time he has logged 4000 group therapy sessions (6000 hours) with this population, which must say something. The groups use an existential orientation, an approach that stresses empathy, agency, and humility--attributes that work pretty well in society as well.
Bob was relinquished at birth and placed with his adoptive family via the black market. He was not legally adopted until the age of thirteen.

RHONDA TUCKER
Rhonda Tucker's background is in education and psychology. Formerly an art teacher, working with children with dyslexia, Rhonda left teaching behind in 2001 to start a graphic design business and focus on writing. In her free time, she cares for the zoo of critters at the Andersen compound and has, for the past seven years, attended Bob's weekly therapy group with his veterans.
An adoptee, Rhonda was relinquished at birth and adopted at the age of three months. As a teenager, she was bounced between home and relatives until being returned to foster care.
Rhonda searched for and found her birthfamily in 1991. While no longer active in her reunion, she is thankful for the experience.
